First unveiled at the Tesla Design Studio alongside the Roadster in 2017, the Semi quickly gained steam, collecting hundreds of reservations by large brands such as PepsiCo, DHL, UPS, FedEx, and Anheuser-Busch. They have included plans to incorporate them into a variety of programs, such as FedEx’s gradual replacement of its legacy fleet for cleaner vehicles and to serve short-haul routes from manufacturing plants to distribution centers and retailers.
Look for the Tesla Semi to go into production in 2019.
